The whole point of Long Gong was to build a game that’s inclusive — one that involves every shooter for the entire match, and that can be played equally by all, regardless of an individual’s physical limitations.

The rifle only cares whether you can shoot it. It cares nothing for your age, your health, your gender, or what you ate for breakfast. Fired from a fully supported position on a bench, with almost no recoil, Long Gong puts a first-timer and a lifelong marksman on the same line, shooting the same three gongs, under the same conditions.

That is the sport: simple enough for anyone to walk up and try, honest enough that the steel is the only judge. Not hard to hit — but real easy to miss.
